OBJECTIVES: Responsible for designing, creating, and managing an organization’s data architecture. Developing database solutions to store and retrieve information securely and efficiently, ensuring data integrity, availability, and accessibility. Convert business requirements into specifications, implement data governance activities, and optimize database performance to support the organization's data-driven initiatives.
MAIN MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and Development: Design and implement scalable, high-performance data architectures; Develop data models, schemas, and data dictionaries; Define and maintain data architecture standards and principles; Ensure data integrity, security, and privacy in all data architecture activities.
- Data Integration: Oversee data integration processes, including ETL operations; Work with data engineers to integrate data from various sources into the Data Warehouse and Data Lake; Ensure seamless data flow across different systems and applications.
- Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures; Ensure compliance with data regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, VN Degree 13, SBV Circle 09, …etc); Implement data quality and data lineage processes.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions; Work closely with IT and development teams to implement data solutions; Provide guidance and mentorship to data engineers and other team members.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems; Identify and resolve data-related issues and bottlenecks; Implement best practices for data management and optimization.
- And other tasks assigned by direct supervisors and Managers of Technology Division.
