Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply data-driven models to support credit portfolio management and business decision-making.
  • Build, calibrate, and deploy statistical and machine learning models (e.g., credit scoring, risk prediction, customer behavior analysis).
  • Analyze portfolio data to identify risk trends, customer behavior patterns, and business opportunities.
  • Combine quantitative analysis with business understanding to propose improvements in credit policies, product strategies, and customer management.
  • Design and automate analytical reports to monitor portfolio performance and business effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Risk, Product, Business) to implement data-driven solutions.
  • Monitor model performance and continuously enhance models to ensure accuracy and real-world effectiveness.

Job Requirement

A. Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Econometrics, Finance & Banking, or related fields.
  • Strong foundation in:
    • Probability and Statistics
    • Data Analysis
  • Solid understanding of Machine Learning algorithms (e.g., Regression, Classification, Tree-based models, etc.).
  • Experience in building or applying data models is a strong advantage.
  • Prior exposure to consumer finance or credit-related domains is preferred.

B. Skills & Competencies

  • Modeling mindset: Ability to develop, evaluate, and improve analytical models.
  • Business mindset: Strong interest in business and ability to translate data insights into business value.
  • Analytical thinking: Ability to extract insights from data and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Programming skills (preferred):Python / SQL / R
  • Communication skills: Ability to present analytical findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn with a continuous improvement mindset.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in credit risk modeling (e.g., PD, LGD, EAD).
  • Familiarity with credit portfolio metrics (e.g., NPL, delinquency, vintage analysis).
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets or big data environments.
