Job Description

OBJECTIVES

Responsible for taking the ownership of quality in Consumer Finance/Banking core modules deliverable by conducting different sets of testing skills and knowledge. Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Stakeholders to continuously manual execute and automate the testing scenarios of our applications to ensure that quality and integrity of the product are maintained in all releases.

MAIN MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop comprehensive manual test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and user stories.

- Perform a diverse range of testing types, including functional testing, non-functional testing (performance, security, etc.), and API testing.

- Provide testing support for web/desktop applications created by our in-house IT development team, ensuring end-to-end testing and quality control throughout the project lifecycle, from Blueprinting to Implementation.

- Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to design effective test strategies.

- Review and analyze software requirements, identifying any unclear or inconsistent elements and seeking clarification through Q&A processes.

- Analyze, report, and monitor test results, tracking defects in the system and investigating defect reports from production support to isolate their root causes.

- Liaise with development teams to ensure adequate resolution of defects and conduct retesting as necessary.

- Provide regular reports to QA leadership or Functional/Dedicated Team Leader, updating on task progress and status.

- Proactively escalate any concerns or quality risks to the QC Lead following the escalation process.

- Analyze tickets, defect trends, and stakeholder feedback to improve testing quality and effectiveness.

- Actively participate in Agile meetings (stand-ups, planning, reviews, etc.) to understand user stories, acceptance criteria, and provide testing feedback during Agile sprints.

Job Requirement

POSITION STANDARD - REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Economy or relevant majors.

- At least 03 year of experience as a QC/Tester with good experience in manual testing for web- based, desktop applications, and backend services.

- English: Proficient in 4 skills or TOEIC > 405 or equivalent qualification

- Knowledgeable in banking and finance industry. Knowledgeable in LOS, CRM systems are plus.
